The story of Sancius is that of two friends and their passion for wine. During the 1990s, their work led two entrepreneurs —Manuel Culiáñez and Tomás Parra — to meet often.
They soon realised that they shared a passion for the Ribera del Duero. In 1998, their dream of making their own wine came true with Sancius Bodegas y Viñedos.
From our small cellar in Piñel de Arriba, Valladolid, we export the unique taste of the Ribera del Duero to the world.
Our Sancius and Vallemon label wines can be found as far afield as New York, Yokohama and Zurich.
The expert and highly-experienced Escudero brothers attend to the wine-making, and to the management and care of the vinyards.
Technical management is the hands of an outstanding oenologist — ‘Nino’ Izquierdo.
